Bhutanese in Australia

The numbers of Bhutanese in Australia have been increasing over the years. It is estimated that more than 5000 Bhutanese live in Perth alone and over 70 families have become permanent residents. These Bhutanese may have been out of Bhutan but Bhutan has never been gone out of their hearts. They are hardworking, understand their roots with deeply embedded cultural values; spirituality, respect, and integrity; and know their fellow compatriots better than anyone.

They have been welcoming, and always willing to help and support their fellow compatriots. They had difficult journey to start with but managed to integrate themselves into the challenging but rewarding life in Australia.
